Why can't I change the contents of a <style> elements?
Internet Explorer doesn't like you doing it. There are workarounds which we're investigating, which we'll be bringing to you in hoo doo version two.
Why do I have to add an mvt class to my elements?
Because our technology only activates on the page once it's all downloaded. However, most of your page is viewable to your visitor before our technology kicks in. Because of this, when your elements are replaced with your alternative versions, your visitors see a very distracting "flicker" as everything is replaced.
When you add an mvt class to your elements they are automatically hidden until after the replacement is performed, minimising this effect.
We are investigating removing this requirement for hoo doo version 2.
Why do you use element IDs instead of script blocks like Google Website Optimiser?
Because Google Website Optimiser's method forces you to make your page non-validating. We like validating code (for some reason), so we're doing it this way.
Why can't you spell "optimise"
Because we're British, damn it.
